Royal Mail strike action expected to disrupt postal services
Royal Mail staff are expected to strike on the 30th September and 1st October 2022. We are therefore expecting delays and disruption to postal services.
Royal Mail have stated the following:
"We have received notification from the CWU union that they have called off their industrial action planned for 9 September.
CWU members are taking strike action on 30 September and 1 October 2022. We’re sorry for the disruption this is likely to cause you. We’re doing what we can to keep services running, but customers should expect significant disruption."
If you have work that you are planning to send us, please use the online registration systems where possible.
If you are expecting documents (e.g. certificates, labels, etc.), please allow extra time, but do let us know if you do not receive anything after 2 weeks as we know that whenever Royal Mail strikes happen, this normally coincides with an increase amount of mail that also goes 'missing'.
We appreciate your understanding and patience over this period.
